My friends: this will be a shorter post this week as we’re right in the heart of the holiday season and I’ve been enormously busy. Here’s a typical weekend day right now:

I love that so much of my art is heading out into the world to be enjoyed – that happiness makes all the late nights putting orders together worth it. I’m feeling majorly sleepy these days between the business and Isaac, but I’m also feeling gratitude and excitement. Non-stop Christmas music helps too!

I sent the first few sets out in the mail this week and I can’t wait to start seeing sweet babies wearing the stickers for photos. Please tag me so I can see!
We’ve also continued to document Isaac’s growth and he just passed the 6 month mark on Monday. Here he is:

I can’t believe he’s already 6 months old. I’m having so much fun with these stickers in part because I recently looked back at the pictures from 2, 3, 4, and 5 months and he looked so different each time! Each month there are subtle changes in the shape of his face and the control he has over his body and I love having this record of his first year.

I found myself without a painting project after the stickers were done and decided to revisit two paintings from last year that I never fully finished.
I had a new perspective on both paintings after I stepped away from them for a while.

I’m so much happier now and am glad I took the chance on it. We’re going to work on prints next.
